Bouss©: The 2025 sports season for primary schools in the Basic Education District (CEB) of Bouss© concluded at the municipal stadium of Bouss© with a victory for the Bouss© 'C' public school football team, defeating Sao by 1 goal to 0.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the final match, held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, witnessed attendance from local authorities and education partners. Under the theme "Sport and culture for resilient education in primary school: winning through patriotism," the event highlighted the vital role of sports in the holistic education of children.
The closely contested match ended in a 1-1 draw during regulation time, with Bouss© 'C' clinching the win through a 1-0 penalty shootout, thereby securing the trophy. The victorious team was awarded 25,000 CFA francs along with sports equipment.
Additionally, top performers in the girls' and boys' running and jumping events received financial envelopes and gadgets sponsored by the Commercial Bank of Burkina (BCB), a partner of the event.
The closing ceremony saw co-sponsorship from Maxime Zongo, CEO of Abondance Multi-Service, Joseph Ou©draogo, CEO of GCOTRAP, and Loukmane Taonsa, head of the local chicken sector in Faso. Alexandre Ou©draogo, head of CEB Bouss©, expressed his satisfaction with the event's successful execution, extending gratitude to the teaching staff and partners for their support.
