Boulkiemdé/ Koudougou Town Hall: Inauguration of a new building worth 119 million FCFA, to house the civil status services

The civil status and census services are moving into new premises. The inauguration of the infrastructure took place on June 13, 2023 in the presence of several personalities.

The new building of the civil status and census service of the town hall of Koudougou is a large building divided into several offices.

At a total cost of 119 million FCFA, the infrastructure was built using the municipality's own funds to the tune of 24 million, to which are added 45 million from the support program for local authorities (PACT) and 50 million from the Mining funds.

The president of the special delegation of the municipality, Jonas Mané, thanked the various partners who have always accompanied the development actions of the municipality.

Mr. Mané also congratulated taxpayers for their efforts to make investments possible.

He also called them to tax citizenship for a consequent development of the municipality.

According to him, everything will be done to digitize all the archives of the civil status and the departmental court, for better conservation and ease of research.

The secretary general of the region, Séverin Somé, urged the officials of the town hall to provide quality service to users.

The president of the regional consular delegation of the Center-West, Issa Semdé, called on the population to take care of the jewel.

The regional authorities took the opportunity to appeal to the population to fully invest in the return of peace to Burkina Faso.
