Boulkiemd©: Students at Soula primary school are being encouraged to wear Faso dan fani as part of a cultural and traditional initiative. The principal of Soula primary school, Simon Kabore, organized a cultural day on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, to promote this traditional attire among children.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the program included activities such as ballets, traditional dances, a small market featuring local food, and a football match between CM2 and 6th-grade students. This initiative aligns with the country’s authorities’ efforts to promote traditional fabrics like Faso dan fani and koko dunda.
Mr. Kabor© also used this event to inform parents about the significance of supporting indigenous craftsmanship. The initiative not only reinforced community bonds but also emphasized the role of culture and traditions in both school and social life.
