Boulgou: The PDS Boosts the Morale of Candidates in Zoaga

Boulgou: The written tests for the Primary School Certificate (CEP) and the entrance exam for sixth grade, 2026 session, officially began this Tuesday in the commune of Zoaga. At the launch, the President of the Special Delegation (PDS), Bernard Yam©ogo, addressed a message of encouragement to the candidates, inviting them to discipline, concentration, and confidence in their abilities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the official launch of the tests took place at the Zoaga 'A' public primary school in the presence of the administrative, security, and educational authorities of the municipality. Officials from the Zoaga Basic Education District (CEB) reported that 233 candidates are taking part this year in the CEP and the entrance exam for sixth grade. The candidates comprise 131 girls and 102 boys, distributed across two examination centers.

Education officials noted an increase in student numbers compared to the previous session, reflecting the efforts made by education stakeholders to strengthen children's access to and retention in school. After the opening of the first envelope containing the subjects, the candidates began their compositions in the different rooms under the supervision of the instructors and supervisors mobilized for the occasion.

Addressing the candidates, the President of the Special Delegation, Bernard Yam©ogo, commended the efforts made throughout the school year and urged them to remain focused during the exams. "I hope to see you all in 6th grade next year," he said, before wishing them every success. The head of the municipality also invited the candidates to show discipline and vigilance in order to approach the exams in the best conditions.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, he offered his encouragement to the students of the Zoaga departmental high school who are taking part in the Brevet d'©tudes du premier cycle (BEPC) exams. Located about ten kilometers from the border with Ghana, the municipality of Zoaga launched its school exams in a peaceful atmosphere. Municipal, educational, and security authorities expressed their hope that candidates would achieve satisfactory results at the end of the 2026 session.
