Demonstrators supported the transition on Friday September 30, 2023 with a march meeting in heavy rain.
The populations of Bittou strongly mobilized at the call of local civil society organizations on Friday September 29, 2023.
It was under heavy rain that the demonstrators walked the different arteries of the town of Bittou.
From the Bittou bus station to the toll booth, through customs and the gendarmerie, they brandished flags of Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Russia and signs on which one could read ‘long live IB’, ‘support to the FDS and VDP’.
They also carried signs bearing the image of President Ibrahim Traore and those of Mali and Niger.
