Boulgou: The new Provincial Director of Youth and Employment of Boulgou, Souleymane Sandwidi, was officially installed in Tenkodogo. The ceremony took place in the meeting room of the Boulgou High Commission, marking a formal transition of leadership between Souleymane Sandwidi and his predecessor, Lassan© Ouedraogo.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was officiated by the Secretary General of the province, Lall© Siaka Yao, with the participation of administrative, religious, and customary authorities, alongside staff members. In his address, Souleymane Sandwidi expressed gratitude to the country's authorities, especially the Minister of Sports, Youth and Employment, for entrusting him with the position during the Council of Ministers held on May 28, 2025. He pledged to confront the challenges ahead to honor this trust.
Sandwidi emphasized the importance of collaboration and sought the support of his team to meet the set objectives. He acknowledged the mission's challenges and expectations but remained hopeful about bringing change. He highlighted his commitment to revitalizing provincial leadership through rigor, transparency, and a focus on results.
Outgoing interim director Lassan© Ouedraogo, who led the provincial directorate for over two years, expressed gratitude to the staff, colleagues from municipal services, resource persons, and religious and customary leaders for their support during his tenure.
