Boulgou: An exchange meeting between security authorities and Bittou citizen monitoring committees took place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, in the Bittou town hall. This meeting was initiated by the Communal Coordination of Citizen Monitoring Associations (CCAVC) of Bittou with the aim of raising awareness among its base on the fight against insecurity and participation in the developments of the commune.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting aimed to strengthen the collaboration between the security authorities and the local population through the citizen monitoring committees. Discussions focused on strategies to combat insecurity and encourage active participation from the community in enhancing the commune’s development efforts.
During the meeting, representatives from the security forces and the monitoring committees exchanged views on current security challenges facing Bittou. They also explored ways in which the community could be more involved in safety initiatives and development p
rojects.
The dialogue is part of a broader effort by the CCAVC to foster better communication and cooperation between the authorities and residents of Bittou. By engaging directly with the community, the authorities hope to build trust and ensure more effective security measures are put in place.
