Boulgou Education Leaders Convene to Reflect on Achievements and Plan for Future

BITTOU—The provincial director of primary and non-formal preschool education (DEPPNF) of Boulgou hosted an exchange meeting with educational stakeholders on Monday at the town hall of Bittou. The gathering aimed to review past achievements and discuss future initiatives in the realm of basic education within the region.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Maurice Ouandaogo, the DEPPNF of Boulgou, described the meeting as a critical opportunity for educators to reflect on the successes of the previous academic year. He highlighted the Centre-East region's top performance in national school examinations, a commendable feat amidst ongoing security challenges.

During the meeting, attended by school directors, presidents of parents' associations, and mothers of students, it was revealed that the region contributed over 17 million FCFA towards peace efforts. Ouandaogo commended the dedication of educational stakeholders which has significantly boosted the region's academic standing. He outlined future plans, including organizing days of excellence, reviving the regional week of patriotism and citizenship, and promoting local languages to further enrich the educational landscape.
