Boulgou: A friends’ club known as “La Sorbonne” donated 3 tons of cement to the Faso Mªbo brigade in Tenkodogo, supporting the presidential initiative aimed at beautifying and cleaning major cities in Burkina Faso.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Friends Club “La Sorbonne” is a think tank and debate group comprised of public and private sector workers and retirees. They gather every morning at Claude’s for coffee and discussions before heading to work. The donation was formally received by Sami B©ranger Poda, president of the special delegation of the commune of Tenkodogo, along with the mission officer of the Centre-East region to the presidency of Faso and a representative of the commander of the Faso Mªbo brigade.
Mr. Poda expressed gratitude towards the Sorbonne Friends Club for their contribution and encouraged other groups to participate in the initiative by making similar contributions. The group’s spokesperson, Gilbert Zabsonr©, emphasized the club’s desire to inspire young people to support the Faso Mªbo initiative, which aims to build and beautify the city of Tenkodogo. He also extended an invitation to other groups to join in the development efforts for Burkina Faso.
