Bougouriba/Dolo: The CEB Celebrates Academic Excellence and Expresses Wishes for a Successful Educational Year

Bougouriba/dolo: The Dolo Basic Education District (CEB) organized a ceremony on Friday, March 6, 2026, to exchange New Year's greetings and celebrate academic excellence. The event provided an opportunity for recognition and motivation for education stakeholders in the municipality, all working together towards the common goal of promoting quality education.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was presided over by the Head of the CEB of Dolo, Bakary Jo«l Sanou, in the presence of the Prefect, President of the Special Delegation of the commune, Iliassa Oudraogo, the Provincial Director of Basic Education of Bougouriba, Adolphe Moss, as well as educational officials, teachers, and partners of the local education system.

This meeting provided an opportunity to highlight the district's achievements. The Dolo CEB (Basic Education Center) achieved an overall success rate of 94% in 2025 for the Primary School Certificate (CEP) exams and the entrance exam for sixth grade, a result deemed very satisfactory by the educational authorities.

To encourage this momentum, several key figures in the education sector were recognized for their contribution to these results. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to teachers who achieved a 100% pass rate on the CEP (Certificate of Primary Education) and the entrance exam for sixth grade. The schools in Goumpologo, Niceo A, and Saptan particularly distinguished themselves and were honored for their outstanding performance.

In his address, the Head of the Dolo CEB (Basic Education Center), Bakary Jo«l Sanou, praised the commitment of all the educational staff and partners. According to him, these results are the fruit of collective effort. "The achievements recorded are the result of a synergy of actions between the various stakeholders in the educational community," he stated.

The Provincial Director of Basic Education for Bougouriba, Adolphe Moss, also congratulated the stakeholders of the Dolo Basic Education Center (CEB) for these encouraging results. He urged teachers to maintain this momentum in order to further improve academic performance in the province.

For his part, the Prefect and President of the Special Delegation of Dolo, Iliassa Oudraogo, paid tribute to the resilience of the teachers who, despite sometimes difficult conditions, continue their educational mission with dedication. He reaffirmed the commitment of the administrative and municipal authorities to support all initiatives aimed at strengthening the local education system.

On behalf of the teachers, their representative extended wishes for health, peace, and success to the authorities and all those involved in education. He also raised several concerns, including the need to improve working conditions, strengthen pedagogical support, and expedite the processing of administrative documents.

This ceremony thus made it possible to highlight the efforts made by the educational community of Dolo and to reaffirm the common will to continue actions in favor of quality education for younger generations.
