Bougouriba: The president of the special delegation of the commune of Dolo, Ilassa Ou©draogo, accompanied by municipal administrative authorities, toured the secondary centers of the Brevet d'©tudes du premier cycle (BEPC) for the 2026 session on Tuesday to encourage candidates and those involved in organizing the examination.
According to Burkina Information Agency, as in other parts of Burkina Faso, the written and oral exams for the BEPC officially began this Tuesday in the commune of Dolo, Bougouriba province. Local authorities marked the occasion by visiting various secondary examination centers to offer moral support to the candidates.
Ilassa Ou©draogo, the president of the Dolo special delegation, visited the secondary school at the Gnonnan Kam departmental high school in Dolo and the Saptan General Education College (CEG). The municipal delegation, led by the town hall's secretary general, Lihint© Pal©, visited the Nic©o high school.
At the Gnonnan Kam departmental high school, Mr. Ou©draogo encouraged the candidates before opening the envelope containing the French expression exam paper. The center registered 42 candidates, including 13 girls and 29 boys, with 39 present at the start of exams and three males absent.
At the Nic©o high school, all 57 registered candidates, including 29 girls and 28 boys, were present for the exams. The town hall's secretary general commended the supervisors' efforts and encouraged candidates to remain calm and focused.
The delegation also visited the CEG of Saptan, hosting a BEPC secondary center for the second consecutive year. The PDS engaged with candidates and organizing staff before opening the Life and Earth Sciences (SVT) exam envelope. The Saptan center registered 55 candidates, including 27 girls and 28 boys, with full attendance.
According to municipal statistics, the 2026 BEPC session in Dolo registered 154 candidates, with 151 attending the exams, representing a 98.05% attendance rate, with three male absentees.
