Boromo Pediatricians Host Christmas Celebration for Hospitalized Children

Balé, Burkina Faso – In a heartwarming event, pediatricians in Boromo organized a Christmas celebration for sick children and newborns in the Boromo maternity ward. The festive gathering, held at the Boromo medical center on Saturday, December 30, aimed to bring joy to young patients.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this was the first event of its kind within the Boromo medical center. The celebration was made possible through the collaborative efforts of pediatric agents, medical delegates, and the generous contributions from employees of Rox gold, along with several anonymous benefactors.

Esaï Bamogo, the president of the special Boromo delegation, commended the initiative. Mr. Bamogo highlighted the event as not only a festive gathering but also a gesture of solidarity towards the sick children and their families.

Dr. Hyppolite Bouda, the head doctor of the health district, expressed his hope for the continuity of such initiatives and called for ongoing support from partners.

The event was a source of immense joy for the hospitalized children from pediatrics, newborns from the maternity ward, and their accompanying family members. The organizers distributed sheets and toys to the children, adding to the festive spirit. In a gesture of community bonding, the authorities and residents shared a communal meal, celebrating the season’s spirit of giving and care.
