Ouagadougou: The Boni Basic Education District (CEB) concluded its sports and cultural activities on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Boni A public primary school grounds. The activities were held under the theme: "Sport and culture in primary school: essential vectors for the implementation of educational reforms in the Boni CEB." The closing ceremony took place in the presence of municipal and educational authorities, as well as teachers, students, and parents.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the activities were organised from May 5 to 6, 2026, and brought together the 14 schools of the CEB of Boni around sports competitions and cultural performances. The final of the football tournament pitted Dossi B public primary school against Boni A. At the end of the match, the Boni A team won by 3 goals to 0.

In addition to the sporting competitions, the ceremony was marked by cultural performances consisting of theatrical pieces, ballets, and playbacks showcasing the talents of the students. Certificates were presented to local stakeholders in recognition of their commitment to education.

According to the head of the Boni Basic Education District, Issa Diallo, these activities aim to promote the development of students through sport and culture, while supporting the implementation of educational reforms.
