Bogodogo University Hospital Offers Meningitis and Yellow Fever Vaccines for International Travelers

Burkina faso: The University Hospital Center of Bogodogo now has vaccines against meningitis ACYW135 and yellow fever, in accordance with the requirements of the International Health Regulations for travelers, according to an information note from the health establishment.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Bogodogo University Hospital has been officially accredited as a vaccination center by the Ministry of Health. This accreditation allows the hospital to offer users vaccination services for international travel as well as pre- and post-exposure rabies vaccines.

The note dated Monday, June 8, 2026, specifies that the vaccines against meningitis ACYW135 and yellow fever are now available within the Infectious Disease Vaccination and Advice Unit of the Infectious and Tropical Diseases Department, located on site B of the establishment.

Hospital authorities indicate that vaccinations are available daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The international vaccination certificate, required for certain destinations, is also available on site.

This service offering aims to facilitate travelers' access to vaccines required for international travel while strengthening prevention against certain infectious diseases.
