Bogandé Residents Repair Access to Local Cemetery

BOGANDÉ — On Monday, residents of Bogandé engaged in community service to repair the deteriorated access slab to the cemetery in sector 1, aiming to enhance safety and accessibility.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the slab, which is the only access route to the cemetery, had been severely compromised by rainwater, causing notable accidents during funeral processions. The community response involved filling bags with sand to mend the damaged areas, thereby improving vehicular access. Taugolo Paré, the prefect and president of the special municipal delegation of Bogandé, was present to support the volunteers, accompanied by his two vice-presidents. While the immediate accessibility issues have been mitigated, local leaders acknowledge the urgent need for permanent infrastructure work to ensure continued access.
