Gnagna: The High Court (TGI) of Bogandé resumed its activities in its premises, this Monday, November 18, 2024, after more than two years of absence, noted the AIB. After more than two and a half years of absence, the High Court (TGI) of Bogandé officially resumed service in the city this Monday morning.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the Bogandé TGI, Yempabou Onadja, announced in a note dated November 18, 2024, the return of the court to its headquarters. This announcement was addressed to the populations of the departments of Coalla, Liptougou, Piéla, Thion, Manni, Bilanga, and Bogandé, signifying the court’s readiness to serve justice once again from its original premises.

For many users, the reopening of the court is considered a significant relief. The judicial authorities have been praised for their efforts to reinstate the court’s operations, which is viewed as a much-needed and advantageous development.

It is noteworthy that the justice services had been temporarily reloc
ated to Fada N’Gourma, the capital of the Eastern region, on March 18, 2022, due to prevailing insecurity. This move had been necessary to ensure the safety of court operations and personnel until stability could be restored in Bogandé.
