Bittou: The PDS congratulates the Bittou Customs officers for the results achieved over the past few months. The President of the special delegation (PDS) of the municipality of Bittou, Mohamed Lamine Diabat©, congratulated the customs service on Monday, August 3, 2026, for the results achieved over the past few months, during the ceremony for raising the national colors.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Bittou Customs office hosted the traditional flag-raising ceremony on Monday, marking the first Monday of the month. Mr. Diabat© also congratulated the Bittou Customs officers for their achievements over the past few months.

Chaired by the President of the special delegation (PDS) of the municipality of Bittou, Mohamed Lamine Diabat©, the ceremony saw a strong mobilization of administrative and customary authorities, defense and security forces, decentralized technical services, Customs agents as well as the various vital forces of the municipality.

In an atmosphere steeped in patriotism, the participants paid homage to the national flag, a symbol of unity, sovereignty and collective commitment to the development of Burkina Faso.

Speaking at the event, the head of the special delegation, Mohamed Lamine Diabat©, praised the strong turnout of participants. He expressed his gratitude to the head of the Bittou Customs office and all its staff for hosting this official ceremony and for their unwavering commitment to serving the nation.

'We are in a context of sovereignty where every citizen is called upon to play their part fully. Customs constitutes an essential link in the mobilization of state resources,' said the PDS.

Mr. Diabat© also congratulated the Bittou Customs officers on the results achieved in recent months. He encouraged them to continue their efforts with the same professionalism in order to meet, or even exceed, the objectives set by their superiors.

In closing his speech, the president of the special delegation expressed wishes for peace, social cohesion and good rainfall for the whole of Burkina Faso, hoping that the current agricultural season would bring abundant harvests for the benefit of the people of the "land of upright men".

On behalf of the head of the Bittou Customs office, Customs Inspector and Deputy Head of Office, Victor Kiemtaremboum, expressed his gratitude to the municipal authorities and all components of the municipality for their strong participation in this ceremony.

The solemn raising of the national colours on the first Monday of August ended in a convivial atmosphere, marked by a spirit of camaraderie, fraternity and civic engagement.
