Biden Declares U.S. as the World’s Only Capable Leader at Democratic National Convention

CHICAGO — U.S. President Joe Biden asserted on Monday that only the United States has the capability to lead the world, emphasizing the nation’s global leadership during a speech at the Democratic Party’s national convention.

According to Burkina Information Agency, “Who can rule the world except the United States?” He underscored that the U.S. is “winning,” which he described as beneficial for the world. In his address, Biden contrasted his administration’s achievements with the views of former President Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for the upcoming presidential election. Biden criticized Trump for portraying the U.S. as a country in decline, stating, “He [Donald Trump] says we are losing. He himself is a loser! And he’s completely wrong.”

Biden further argued that the United States is now “safer and more prosperous” than it was under Trump’s presidency from 2017 to 2021. He highlighted a decline in violent crime to “its lowest level in more than half a century,” attributing it to his administration’s efforts. Biden also took the opportunity to endorse Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, a former prosecutor, contrasting her qualifications with Trump’s recent conviction for manipulating his business’s financial records.
