Bazega: The Bazega Provincial Directorate of Humanitarian Action and National Solidarity organized a community meal on December 30, 2025, as part of the "Deme Sira" campaign. This initiative aimed to promote values of solidarity and harmonious coexistence, bringing together numerous individuals from the town of Kombissiri.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Lamoussa Clotilde Korbeogo, the Provincial Director in charge of National Solidarity for Bazega, stated that the event's objective was to reinvigorate the values of solidarity and community spirit across all social strata through this communal dining experience.
The activity was designed for the benefit of vulnerable people in the town and was attended by Boukary Porgo, President of the Special Delegation of the Kombissiri municipality, along with staff from the Directorate and partners.
More than 300 vulnerable individuals were invited to partake in the community meal, including people living with disabilities, the elderly, widows, orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), and internally displaced persons.
Ms. Korbeogo expressed her gratitude to all collaborators and partners for the success of the activity, highlighting its role in promoting solidarity as part of the "Deme Sira" campaign.
