Bazèga: Authorities and local residents in Bazèga province came together on Tuesday to clean up the Medical Center with Surgical Unit (CMA) of Kombissiri as part of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation. According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was organized by the provincial authorities of Bazèga, with significant involvement from the local population. The High Commissioner of Bazèga, Téné Justine Kientega/Ilboudo, stated that the primary goal was to clear the area of weeds and debris to create a better working environment for healthcare providers and a safer area for patients. "If the environment is cleaned up, we are reassured that our patients are cured," she remarked during the event. The clean-up included the areas around the operating theater, maternity buildings, and other parts of the medical facility's estate. Various tools were used for weeding and cleaning, demonstrating a large-scale effort by the community. The head physician of the Kombissiri health dis trict, Dr. Luc Minoungou, expressed his gratitude towards the community and local authorities for their dedication and patriotic spirit. The High Commissioner was joined by Boukary Porgo, the president of the special delegation of Kombissiri, and heads of city administrative services. They encouraged the residents to participate in similar future events to maintain and improve their community facilities.
