Baz¨ga: Lassan© Younga has officially taken over as the provincial director in charge of communication, culture, arts, and tourism in Baz¨ga, succeeding St©phane Boua. The handover ceremony, led by T©n© province’s High Commissioner Justine Kientega/Ilboudo, was held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in Kombissiri.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Lassan© Younga, who serves as a cultural affairs advisor, was appointed to his new role during the council of ministers meeting on April 9, 2025. Younga takes over from St©phane Boua, a senior museum technician who led the directorate for more than five years.
T©n© Justine Kientega/Ilboudo commended Boua for his commendable work and dedication, highlighting his contributions to the province’s development. She also extended her congratulations to Lassan© Younga, expressing her wishes for his success in the new position.
The ceremony was attended by prominent cultural figures and key players from the province, marking a significant moment for the local cultural community.
