Bassitenga: Mr. Saïdou Guigma was officially installed in his functions as High Commissioner of the province of Bassitenga, this Tuesday, during a ceremony presided over by the Secretary General of the region, Ibrahim Boly, representing the Governor. According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was held in the presence of administrative authorities, representatives of various institutions, and close associates and colleagues of the new High Commissioner. On this occasion, the Secretary General of the province, Esther Tamalgo, welcomed Mr. Guigma and reaffirmed the High Commission staff's commitment to supporting him in carrying out his mission. Expressing his gratitude to the authorities for the trust placed in him, the new High Commissioner acknowledged the magnitude of the task ahead, emphasizing the need for commitment, dedication, and effective administrative action. He also commended the achievements of his predecessor and expressed his determination to continue the work begun. On behalf of t he constituted bodies, their spokesperson, Mr. Yohobi Tapsoba, reassured the new provincial authority of their full availability and their frank collaboration, in a spirit of administrative discipline and the pursuit of results for the benefit of the people. Closing the ceremony, the Secretary General of the region, Ibrahim Boly, invited the new High Commissioner to work in synergy with all local actors, recalling the requirement to "move quickly and well, because everything is urgent", in accordance with the directives of the Head of State.
