Kenedougou: The municipality of Banzon provides 300,000 FCFA worth of fuel to the fighting forces to strengthen security. The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the commune of Banzon, Sie Poda, offered, this Monday, March 16, 2026, a fuel voucher worth 300,000 CFA francs to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), in order to strengthen security in the commune.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the presentation of a fuel voucher worth 300,000 CFA francs took place during the flag-raising ceremony. The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the Banzon municipality, Sie Poda, commended the dedication of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) in ensuring the security of the municipality.

The fuel voucher was presented to the Banzon police commissioner, Salifou Kabre, and the VDP delegate, Abdoulaye Traore. Mr. Kabre expressed his gratitude and assured them that the fuel would be used wisely to support security missions.
