SOLENZO—On Tuesday, post-primary and secondary school educators commenced a four-day annual educational conference in Solenzo, aimed at enhancing their instructional capacities through the Competency-Based Approach/Integration Pedagogy (APC/PI). The conference seeks to deepen teachers' understanding and application of innovative teaching methodologies to improve educational outcomes.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Nathan Traoré, the Provincial Director of Post-Primary and Secondary Education of Banwa, highlighted that the conference is pivotal for educators to grasp the new curricula effectively. Traoré stated that the training sessions are designed to ensure the teachers are well-prepared to implement these curricula, ultimately providing students with a quality education.

Over 200 high school and college teachers are participating in the event, engaging in comprehensive discussions about the objectives and expected outcomes of the APC/PI methodologies. These discussions will cover the basic concepts of APC/PI, assessment techniques, and the creation of integration scenarios and correction grids specific to various disciplines. Before the event officially began, Traoré led a moment of silence in honor of the military and educational community members who have recently passed away, acknowledging their contributions and sacrifices.
