Banwa: Tansila Basic Education District Welcomes New Chief

Banwa: The handover ceremony between Heads of Basic Education Districts (CCEB) in Tansila was held this Friday morning at the village hall of the town hall of Tansila. The event was chaired by Mamadou Coulibaly, President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the commune of Tansila.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was attended by heads of departmental services, CEB teaching staff, education partners, customary and religious authorities, and a delegation from the Banwa Provincial Directorate of Education. The new CCEB, Jean Baptiste de la Salle Dakuyo, expressed his commitment to aligning with the educational reforms undertaken by the government. He emphasized his reliance on goodwill and urged municipal authorities, teaching staff, and education partners to support him in achieving his mission. Dakuyo also expressed his openness to advice and support from collaborators.

The outgoing CCEB, Sidwaya Abraham Sawadogo, who served for 4 years and 3 months, extended his gratitude to the education partners and actors who helped him overcome numerous challenges and achieve favorable results in the CEP. He congratulated the incoming chief on his appointment and wished him success in his new role.
