Students in the CM2 class of Banwa achieved a success rate of 57.62% at the CEP 2023. They contributed with their youngest, 167,000 FCFA in support of the Combatant Forces which enabled the resumption of classes, thanks to the liberation of Solenzo from the hands of terrorists, in December 2022.
The teachers of Solenzo invited the authorities of the municipality of Solenzo on Saturday, June 17, 2023 for the proclamation of the results of the Certificate of Primary Study (CEP), session of 2023.
Thus for 522 registered candidates, 505 were able to compose and 290 were admitted, representing a success rate of 57.42%.
The Provincial Director in charge of education affirmed that Solenzo has come a long way; an allusion to the suspension of educational activities because of the terrorist occupation for months.
“Our goal is not results but giving joy to children and their parents. I congratulate you teachers. Always conquer the impossible and I know you are. »
According to the statements of the Provincial Director in charge of National Education, on the Sanaba site based in Dédougou, 175 candidates were registered but 170 were able to compose.
Among these 170 candidates, 99 are admitted, representing a success rate of 58.23%.
“If we take Solenzo and Sanaba, we can say that the province has achieved an overall rate of 57.62% because 389 candidates are admitted among 675 candidates”, adds the Provincial Director in charge of National Education.
Solenzo’s best student (138 points) received a bicycle and a school kit from the Prefect-PDS of Solenzo and the Provincial Director in charge of National Education.
At the end of the proclamation of the results, the Provincial Director of Education gave an envelope of 167,000 FCFA to the Prefect for the FDS, representing the students’ contributions.
“When a child blesses you, you have had it all. They contributed themselves from CP1 to CM2, which they gave to teachers to support the peace effort. 25 FCFA, 50 FCFA other 100 FCFA, they were able to have this sum for you the FDS. They also say thank you because without you they would currently be in Dédougou”, concludes the Provincial Director of Education.
The Prefect greeted the Provincial Director, the various inspectors and all the actors who made it possible to achieve these results, despite the difficult security context.
“You have proven your patriotism and your love for the Nation and today the results are there. My congratulations to all of you and on behalf of the High Commissioner I say thank you to all the actors for your efforts, ”said the Prefect in his message.
