Banwa: The National Food Security Stock Management Company (SONAGESS) put on sale in Solenzo, 600 bags of rice of 30 kg at the social price of 10,000 CFA francs per bag, on Tuesday March 25, 2025. The rice sale operation at social prices was a resounding success in Solenzo. The trailer truck transporting the stock was greeted with great relief by the population of Solenzo on Monday, March 24, and on Tuesday, March 25, the population, who had been waiting for this opportunity, immediately stormed the sales site.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Jos©phine B©r©, a debt collector at SONAGESS in Solenzo, stated that the sale was open to everyone without distinction and to benefit, individuals must present themselves on the site with their CNIB (National Insurance Number) and the sum of 10,000 CFA francs. No one was allowed to purchase more than one bag, as emphasized by Ms. B©r©.

From morning until evening, those who wanted and had the required amount were served. The 600 bags were sold for a total of 6 million CFA francs on behalf of SONAGESS.
