Banwa High Commissioner Urges Residents to Fulfill Tax Obligations

Banwa: The High Commissioner of the Banwa province, Sanfi©nal© Joseph Sirima, has called upon the residents to fulfill their tax obligations and duties, marking a significant step towards fiscal responsibility. This appeal was made during the ceremonial raising of the rotating colors held at the Solenzo town hall.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event saw participation from directors and heads of provincial services, alongside representatives from various social classes. Following the ceremonial proceedings, Mr. Sirima emphasized the importance of public cooperation in the ongoing vaccination efforts against schistosomiasis.

In a bid to set an example, Mr. Sirima demonstrated fiscal responsibility by paying his residence tax, amounting to 2,500 CFA francs, applicable in the city of Solenzo. This act was mirrored by provincial directors, department heads, and other attendees, who proceeded to pay their taxes to the on-site tax officers.

The event witnessed active participation from vehicle owners, gun owners, tricycle drivers, and the general populace, all of whom stepped forward to fulfill their tax duties, reinforcing the province’s commitment to fiscal accountability.
