The company Rahimo transport and the mining company Bissa Gold offered on March 22, 2024, food and equipment to the municipality of Sabcé, with a total value of more than 10 million FCFA .

Faced with the difficult security situation in the province of Bam, goodwill continues to manifest itself.

These were the cases on Wednesday March 22, 2023 with Rahimo Transport and the mining company Bissa Gold, for the benefit of the municipality of Sabcé.

The first set of the shed is made up of 80 25kg bags of rice, 40 5 liter cans of oil, 50 boxes of soap, 50 mats of 2 places and 20 garbage cans.

It is the company Rahimo transport which made this gesture worth 1,700,000 FCFA towards the populations of the commune of Sabcé as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR).

According to the administrative and financial director of Rahimo Transport Raoul Kader Ouedraogo, the objective of this solidarity is to relieve the poor people of the commune of Sabcé.

“We organized a football tournament which brought together all the villages of Sabcé. Unfortunately, the tournament was interrupted due to constraints.

Yet we had promised to deliver these gifts during the final. That’s why we decided to do it today. We plan to continue in the same dynamic each year,” he explained.

After this step, the mining company Bissa Gold also transmitted 250 tables benches worth 8 million 875 thousand FCFA, to the municipality of Sabcé to face the difficulties related to the insufficiency of this equipment in schools.

For the representative of community relations, Bernard Seremé, it is a tradition for Bissa Gold to support the development efforts of the municipalities within its operating jurisdiction.

The president of the special delegation of Sabcé Aristide Bado appreciated the two gestures at their true values.

“These gestures come at the right time for our municipality and I would like to thank Bissa Gold and Rahimo Transport. You know very well that terrorism has disrupted the way our commune operates. And receiving such assistance in such circumstances is a great relief. With the social service, we will quickly proceed with the sharing with the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) and the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) as priority targets,” said Mr. Bado.

As a reminder, Rahimo transport has been transporting Bissa Gold staff since 2017.
