Banwa: The population of Balav© is rehabilitating a bridge at the entrance to the town. The population of Balav© mobilized on Thursday, July 9, 2026, in the locality to rehabilitate the bridge at the entrance to the town which had been damaged by rainwater.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Harouna Sawadogo, president of the Balav© citizen watch group, reported that the bridge was damaged following heavy rain on Sunday, June 28, 2026. Observing the extent of the damage, the Balav© citizen watch group rallied the community to address the issue promptly.
The rehabilitation efforts proved successful after a few hours of dedicated work, with the bridge being restored to facilitate smooth traffic flow. The workers expressed their satisfaction with the strong community turnout and the efficient execution of the project.
Harouna Sawadogo extended his gratitude to the workers for their proactive response. Additionally, Mohamed Sankara, president of the Balav© youth association, encouraged continued youth involvement in community service initiatives.
