Dédougou – The baccalaureate exams for the 2024 session in the Boucle du Mouhoun region started with sporting events on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The regional director of post-primary and secondary education, Dr. Denis Vimboué, visited various examination centers to oversee the proceedings and motivate participants.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the administration of these tests is critical for the candidates’ progress to higher education. “This morning the sports tests for the 2024 baccalaureate session begin. Take this test seriously because it counts like all the other tests. Work with serenity and you will see that you will obtain the passport which will open the doors of the university to you,” he stated during his visits.
Security and health personnel were noted to be present at each site to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams. The region has organized 40 commissions to administer these sporting events, with 13 in Mouhoun, 16 in Balé, two in Banwa, and three each in the provinces of Kossi, Nayala, and Sourou.
A total of 8,373 candidates are registered for this session’s baccalaureate exams in the Boucle du Mouhoun region, including 8,126 for general education, 139 for technological education, and 108 for vocational education.
