Baccalaureate 2025 Kicks Off with 2,440 Candidates in Passor© Province

Yako: The High Commissioner of Passor© Province, Daouda Sangar©, initiated the written exams for the 2025 baccalaureate session at the Yako communal high school. For this session, a total of 2,440 candidates are participating in the baccalaureate exam within the province.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the candidates comprise 1,208 boys and 1,232 girls, distributed across 10 juries. The exams began on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, with the High Commissioner of the province, Daouda Sangar©, and the provincial director of Secondary Education of Passor©, Mimtiri Oualbeogo, along with administrative, military, and paramilitary authorities, attending the opening at jury 407 located at the communal high school of Yako.

The provincial authority conveyed good luck wishes to the candidates, emphasizing the importance of staying calm during the exams. Mimtiri Oualbeogo, the Provincial Director for Secondary Education, confirmed that the session is proceeding smoothly within the province.

Mr. Oualbeogo stressed the need for vigilance and rigor among those overseeing the examination process. He also reminded candidates to refrain from bringing mobile phones into the examination rooms. The results of the first round of the 2025 Baccalaureate are anticipated to be announced on Thursday, July 3, 2025.
