Baccalaureate 2025: Bogodogo High School Reports 24.12% Success Rate in First Round

Ouagadougou: Of the 485 candidates who took part in the 2025 Baccalaureate exam in the two juries at Bogodogo High School in Ouagadougou, 24.12% were declared successful in the first round and 125 were authorized to participate in the second round.



According to Burkina Information Agency, Bogodogo High School hosted two juries for the 2025 baccalaureate session. Jury 102 registered 241 candidates, of whom 58 were declared admitted, 60 were authorized to appear in the second round, while 133 failed, representing a success rate of 23.11%. As for Jury 101, out of 244 candidates, 59 were admitted, 65 will go on to the second round, and 128 were not successful, representing a success rate of 23.41%.



Koala Rasman©, president of Jury 101, expressed disappointment with the results, highlighting that the success rate did not reach the 50% mark. He emphasized the need for students to reconsider their learning approach and minimize distractions such as mobile phones.



“In my opinion, a diligent student who applied himself to his lessons had every chance of succeeding this year, because the subjects were accessible to those who had prepared well,” he stated.



Gnanou Ashley, a successful candidate in the first round, acknowledged the challenges posed by the exam. She expressed relief and pride upon hearing her name among the successful candidates.



KaborĀ© Salifou, who was admitted to Mariem N’Gouabi high school, expressed his joy and gratitude towards his family and teachers for their support. He looks forward to beginning the next stage of patriotic immersion with enthusiasm.
