Baccalaureate 2024: Boussé Records Improvement in High School Graduation Rate

BOUSSÉ — The province of Boussé celebrated an increase in its high school graduation rate for the 2024 baccalaureate session, with results announced on July 5, 2024, marking a notable improvement over the previous year.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the provincial director in charge of post-primary and secondary education, the region achieved a 47.39% success rate, a significant increase from 35.13% in 2023. This year, the province saw 526 students, including 236 girls, successfully pass the baccalaureate exams.

The director commended the smooth execution of the examination process and acknowledged the dedication of all involved. He also offered words of encouragement to those who did not succeed, urging them to persevere and strive harder in the forthcoming sessions.

Among the successful candidates, Ulrich Ouédraogo plans to pursue studies in computer science, citing better job prospects, while Nadège Kabore, Némata Ilboudo, and Océane Ouédraogo expressed their aspirations to enter the medical field to contribute to public health enhancement.
