Kadiogo: Musician Iklass makes his return to the Burkinabe music scene with the release of Teegre, a new nine-track album carrying a message of respect, love, and peace. Sung in Moore and French, the album is a true invitation to unity and living together.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the artist shared that ‘Teegre means that God is at the center of everything in my life. I entrust myself to Him, and I thank Him for His blessings.’ Among the standout tracks, “IB Traore” pays tribute to the President of Burkina Faso, while “Wakat” reminds us that “everything has its time”.
Iklass, whose real name is Omar Zongo, lives in Germany but is currently vacationing in Burkina Faso. He encourages his fans and music lovers to embrace the inspiring messages contained in Teegre. With this fourth album, following the third one released in 2027, Iklass confirms once again its desire to contribute to the rise of Burkinabe music on the international scene.
