ANPG Engages Global Partners at 21st International Liquefied Natural Gas Conference

Doha: The National Agency for Petroleum and Gas (ANPG) recently represented Angola at the 21st International Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Conference and Exhibition in Doha, Qatar. The event served as a platform for ANPG to explore strategic partnerships and advance Angola's gas and LNG sectors.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the summit attracted leaders from business, government, and innovation sectors to evaluate recent developments, emerging technologies, and market trends influencing the natural gas industry. ANPG aimed to leverage its participation to pursue large-scale projects with robust midstream partners, positioning Angola to capture forthcoming investment waves in gas and LNG.

During the conference, Artur de Manuel Cust³dio, Executive Administrator of ANPG, engaged in discussions with several multinational companies, focusing on potential collaborations. Notably, QatarEnergy showed interest in the Angolan market, particularly in expansive oil and gas initiatives. Cust³dio also engaged with Petronas, who expressed an interest in the midstream sector, and CSSC Shipping, known for their expertise in LNG transportation and innovative leasing and funding models for new export projects.

Furthermore, Cust³dio held meetings with Angola LNG representatives to explore how the company could contribute to developing industrial hubs in alignment with the Angolan Natural Gas Master Plan. Additionally, discussions with Copy Group, an Angolan company specializing in artificial intelligence technology for seismic data processing, highlighted potential advancements in data interpretation speed.

The Liquefied Natural Gas Conference Series, established in 1968, is recognized as the premier global forum for exchanging information on LNG. It is organized by the International Gas Union, GTI Energy, and the International Institute of Refrigeration.
