Luanda: The Angola International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies (ANGOTIC-2026) has announced that tickets are now available for purchase. Interested attendees can secure their access through the official website, www.angotic.ao, or by visiting the Talatona Convention Hotel (HCTA) and Digital.AO, located next to the Luanda Telecommunications Institute (ITEL) in Rangel.
According to Angola Press News Agency, access credentials for the event are priced between 2,000 and 1 million kwanzas. These are designed to cater to various categories of participants, including professionals in the sector, students, entrepreneurs, researchers, Information and Communication Technology enthusiasts, and the general public.
The pricing structure offers several packages: the "Student" package at Kz 2,000 for participants up to 17 years of age, "Silver" at Kz 7,000, "Gold" at Kz 15,000, "Platinum" at Kz 50,000, and "Diamond" at Kz 1,000,000. Each package provides different levels of access and benefits, such as general entry, session participation, access to exhibition areas, and certificates of participation, with higher-tier packages offering additional perks like access to the opening ceremony and lunch throughout the event.
The forum is scheduled to take place from June 11 to 13, expecting over 20,000 participants, 100 exhibitors, 117 companies, 180 start-ups, and 100 speakers. It will feature round-table discussions, workshops, and technical sessions, among other activities.
ANGOTIC serves as Angola's premier Information and Communication Technologies Forum, uniting companies, start-ups, experts, academics, and government institutions to foster innovation, debate, and networking. The event is organized by the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Mass Media (MINTTICS) and aims to propel Angola's digital transformation by promoting technological solutions in connectivity, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital government.
This year's theme, 'On the path to digital transformation,' focuses on digitalization, modernization, local service provision, sustainable innovation, inclusion, and cooperation strengthening. ANGOTIC-2026 is set to spotlight the innovative capabilities of both domestic and international ICT sector companies and facilitate discussions on pressing industry issues, including artificial intelligence, fake news, e-governance, local products and services, digital television, and data centers.
