ANGOP Recognized as Key Partner for Youth Empowerment Initiatives

Luanda: The executive secretary of the Municipal Youth Council of Ingombota (CMJI), Cntia Soba, highlighted the pivotal role of the ANGOP news agency in promoting the well-being of young people during a visit to the agency on Thursday.

According to Angola Press News Agency, Soba emphasized that ANGOP, as a pioneering force in national journalism, has distinguished itself by its comprehensive and rigorous content. This makes it a vital partner for CMJI in publicizing its activities aimed at youth empowerment.

The visit served to deepen the partnership between CMJI and ANGOP, with Soba expressing interest in understanding the workings of ANGOP’s central newsroom. She underscored the significance of this collaboration in enhancing the visibility of youth-centric initiatives.

Soba further elaborated on CMJI’s structure, which comprises over 20 youth organizations across various sectors. These organizations have been actively involved in conducting training sessions, providing internship opportunities, organizing capacity-building seminars, and hosting lectures, all designed to benefit young individuals.

“The Ingombota Municipal Youth Council is an extension of the National Youth Council (CNJ), tasked with empowering young Angolans to lead positive changes,” she stated, highlighting the council’s mission to foster skill development, facilitate idea exchanges, form strategic partnerships, and support community projects that enhance social, cultural, and environmental welfare.
