Angola’s Potential Exhibited in Matala

Matala: The municipality of Matala in Hu­la Province recently hosted the 2nd edition of the Provincial Fair, under the theme 'Get to know the New Political-Administrative Division of the Country.' The event took place over the weekend, focusing on showcasing the potential of Angola's 21 regions and emphasizing the significance of the country's new Administrative Division.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the event featured representatives from all 21 provinces of Angola, with groups of students and teachers from Matala displaying the unique characteristics of each region. This initiative aimed to enhance understanding and knowledge of Angola's diverse provinces, covering aspects such as population, municipalities, geographical boundaries, gastronomy, and culture.

Manuel Machado Quilende, the municipal administrator of Matala, highlighted the event as an opportunity for participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of the nation's diverse regions. He emphasized that the fair serves as a platform for promoting national integration, social cohesion, and the appreciation of Angolan culture.

Quilende also praised the efforts of the Municipal Directorate of Education for their role in organizing the event. He noted the impressive level of knowledge demonstrated by the students, who effectively presented key aspects of each province in various national languages. The administrator encouraged further initiatives to enhance the well-being of the residents and deepen their connection to the country's rich cultural tapestry.
