Angolan President Sends Message to United Arab Emirates Counterpart

Abu dhabi: A message from the Angolan President, Joo Louren§o, addressed to his counterpart from the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was delivered on Monday in Abu Dhabi by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, T©te Ant³nio. The message was received by the Emirati Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during a meeting with the Angolan delegation.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the message is part of the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries and addresses matters of common interest, with emphasis on strengthening economic and institutional cooperation. The note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the commitment of both nations to enhance friendship and foster mutually beneficial partnerships for the benefit of the Angolan and Emirati peoples.

The delivery of the message also reaffirms the common desire to consolidate political dialogue at the highest level and promote new opportunities for cooperation between Angola and the United Arab Emirates. Angola and the United Arab Emirates have intensified their bilateral cooperation, consolidated by the signing of 44 agreements in 2025, covering strategic sectors such as the economy, defense, renewable energy, diamonds, health, and transport.

The partnership aims at the economic diversification of Angola, with a focus on the Free Trade Area and investments in infrastructure.
