New Delhi: Angolan President Joo Louren§o is set to embark on a state visit to India this Saturday and Sunday, following an invitation from Indian authorities.
According to Angola Press News Agency, President Louren§o is expected to arrive in New Delhi on Friday morning. During the visit, he is scheduled to meet with Indian President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation between the two nations.
The visit will commence on Saturday morning with a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, where President Louren§o will visit his memorial to lay a wreath and sign the Honor Book. A key event of the visit is the Business Forum on Sunday, which will gather entrepreneurs from both Angola and India. President Louren§o is slated to deliver a speech at the forum’s opening ceremony.
