Angolan President Celebrates Portugal Day with Heartfelt Message to Portuguese Counterpart

Luanda: Angolan President Joo Louren§o extended his congratulations to his Portuguese counterpart, Ant³nio Jos© Seguro, on the occasion of Portugal, Camµes and Portuguese Communities Day, which was celebrated on Wednesday.

According to Angola Press News Agency, President Louren§o sent a message to the Portuguese Head of State, highlighting the deep historical, cultural, and human ties that bind Angola and Portugal. He congratulated the people and Government of Portugal, expressing his wishes for a joyful celebration for the Portuguese nation.

The Angolan leader emphasized the solid and mutually beneficial partnership that exists between the two countries. He noted that Angola and Portugal maintain cooperation based on mutual respect, trust, and a shared desire to build a prosperous future for their peoples.

President Louren§o also took the opportunity to reiterate Angola's commitment to deepening friendly and cooperative relations with Portugal. He expressed hopes for the continued progress and prosperity of both nations.

In his message to Ant³nio Jos© Seguro, the Angolan President wished good health, personal well-being, and success for the Portuguese people. Portugal Day is celebrated annually on June 10, in honor of the poet Lu­s de Camµes and the Portuguese diaspora worldwide.
