Angolan President Calls for Global Action to Protect Children’s Rights

Luanda: Angolan President Joo Louren§o on Sunday emphasized the global responsibility to protect children’s rights, stressing the urgent need to ensure their access to education, health, and adequate nutrition. In his message marking World Children’s Day on June 1, Louren§o highlighted the importance of this United Nations-designated day as a time for global reflection on the challenges faced by children.



According to Angola Press News Agency, President Louren§o appealed to Angolan families to commit to the harmonious development of children. He also drew attention to the ongoing suffering and vulnerabilities experienced by children, particularly in Africa and regions like Gaza, where children are often victims of neglect and violence.



In his heartfelt message, President Louren§o called for a united global effort to create a better future for children, one where they can experience happiness within families that prioritize their well-being above all else.
