Luanda: Angolan President Joo Louren§o received Shakhboot Bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, the Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates, to discuss bilateral cooperation between Angola and the UAE. The meeting took place on Monday, focusing on various aspects of the strategic partnership between the two nations.

According to Angola Press News Agency, Shakhboot Bin Nahyan Al Nahyan did not provide any statements to the press following the meeting. However, he has maintained regular communication with Angolan authorities within the framework of the strategic partnership, highlighting the UAE’s role as a key development partner for Angola. This partnership extends beyond business interests to include governance and strategic infrastructure projects.

In recent years, Angola and the UAE have significantly intensified their cooperative relations, diversifying partnerships beyond the oil sector. The UAE has been promoting investments in various sectors in Angola, including health, renewable energy, agriculture, education, logistics infrastructure, trade, and technology.
