With their sights set on leading the quadrangular tournament, the team is eager to build on their initial success.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the 'Pearls' secured two points after defeating Congo Brazzaville with a score of 25-21 in their debut match on Wednesday. The team is currently tied in points with Portugal, who top the tournament standings due to a higher goal count, having bested Lithuania 37-23 in the opening round.

The outcome of Thursday's games will be pivotal. Should Angola and Portugal both emerge victorious, the tournament title will hinge on a final knockout match between these two teams. This decisive encounter is scheduled for Saturday, promising an exciting conclusion to the tournament.
