Angolan Foreign Minister Invited for Brazil-Africa Forum

Luanda: Minister of Foreign Affairs T©te Ant³nio received the president of the Brazil-Africa Institute on Monday at the Angolan diplomatic headquarters in Luanda for a courtesy meeting aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation ties.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the meeting is part of efforts to deepen relations between Angola and Brazil and reflects a mutual interest in promoting initiatives that contribute to the economic, social, and institutional development of Global South countries through dialogue, knowledge sharing, and the building of strategic partnerships.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation between Angolan and Brazilian institutions, with a special focus on promoting South-South cooperation and deepening partnerships in areas of common interest.

On this occasion, the president of the Brazil-Africa Institute formally invited Minister T©te Ant³nio to participate as a guest speaker in the 2026 edition of the Brazil-Africa Forum, to be held on November 11 and 12 in So Paulo, Brazil.

The Angolan Foreign Minister expressed his gratitude for the invitation and confirmed his participation in the event.

The 2026 Brazil-Africa Forum will bring together representatives from Brazil, African nations, and other regions of the world-including government officials, business leaders, and members of the academic community-with the aim of fostering stronger international cooperation, exchanging experiences, and seeking solutions for sustainable development.

The 2026 edition will focus on strengthening strategic partnerships between Africa and Brazil, promoting knowledge exchange, investment attraction, innovation, food security, the energy transition, digital transformation, and sustainable development. The event also aims to strengthen the historical and cultural ties uniting Brazil and the African continent, fostering opportunities for economic and institutional cooperation that can generate mutual benefits and contribute to the inclusive development of the participating countries.
