Angolan Capital Market Sustainability Highlighted

Luanda: The chairperson of the Academy of Environment and Sustainability, Jos© Silva, stated on Tuesday in Luanda that the capital market in Angola is already showing signs of evolution, advocating for greater pragmatism in state support mechanisms to facilitate the entry of companies into this financial segment.

According to Angola Press News Agency, speaking to the press on the sidelines of the Annual Summit Angola 2025, the official stressed that currently companies must ensure internal organization, structured accounting, and adequate governance to position themselves before international investors.

Jos© Silva acknowledged the existence of several financing packages regarding the role of the State in boosting the capital market, but considered that many of them remain shrouded in excessive bureaucracy and obstacles, which limits access for national businesses.

He highlighted the importance of sharing experiences in strengthening entrepreneurship. The Annual Summit Angola 2025 is one of the main economic debate forums in the Portuguese-speaking region, promoted by Forbes Africa Lusophone, with the objective of bringing together business leaders, investors, academics, and public decision-makers from Portuguese-speaking countries.

The event focuses on the analysis of global economic trends, the strengthening of the business environment, and the promotion of investment opportunities in the Portuguese-speaking space.
