Angolan Beverages Shine at UN International Bazaar in New York

New York: The Angola-made drinks Capuca, Cuca beer, and Capungo-Pungo tea were showcased on Tuesday at a creative event organized by the United Nations (UN) in New York, as reported by ANGOP on Thursday.

According to Angola Press News Agency, this event, known as the ‘United Nations International Bazaar,’ aims to celebrate cultural diversity while raising funds to support various humanitarian and social projects worldwide. Angola’s stand, under the leadership of Ambassador Gra§a da Cruz, drew considerable attention from visitors who were keen to sample unique refreshments on a sunny day.

The popular offerings from Angola included Cuca and Capuca, Eka, and “gua do Chefe,” which were among the most requested products. The accompanying menu, featuring rice, beans, and fried fish, also received positive feedback from attendees. The fair saw participation from representatives of around 50 out of the UN’s 193 member states, highlighting the global appeal of the event.
