Angolan Armed Forces Chief of Staff Praises High Morale and Readiness in the Southern Military Region

Hula: The Chief of Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), Aviation General Altino Jos© dos Santos, praised the high morale and readiness of the military on Saturday in Hula, after a 4-day visit to the Southern Military Region. "The troops' morale is good, their morale is high, and they are in a position to fulfill the mission," the general told journalists in the city of Lubango, while giving an overview of his work trip to southern Angola.

According to Angola Press News Agency, Altino dos Santos urged the troops to remain vigilant in their preparation and to invest in continuous training, a challenge already undertaken by the FAA, given that knowledge is a fundamental factor, as it is the basis that guarantees readiness and efficiency. He asked the troops to remain vigilant, disciplined, and ready to fulfill the mission of defending the Homeland and democratic institutions, ensuring the stability and security that allow for the harmonious development of Angola.

In addition to Hula, he also visited the municipalities of Ondjiva and Cahama for the same purpose.

The aviation general was accompanied by heads of key directorates, the 2nd commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Remgio do Esprito Santo, distinguished senior general officers, junior captains, sergeants, and privates from the FAA General Staff and the Army Command.
