Angolan Ambassador to Botswana Presents Credentials to SADC

Gaborone: The Angolan ambassador to Botswana, Sandro de Oliveira, presented his credentials this week in Gaborone to the Executive Secretary of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), Elias Magosi, accrediting him as the permanent representative to the regional organization. According to Angola Press News Agency, Elias Magosi congratulated the Angolan diplomat on his appointment and welcomed him to Botswana, the host country of the SADC Secretariat. The diplomat reiterated the organization's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Angola on matters of common interest, with a view to advancing the regional agenda for integration and development. Ambassador Sandro de Oliveira expressed his willingness to work closely with the SADC Secretariat, with the aim of contributing to the achievement of the goals set by the organization's member states. Ambassador Sandro Renato Agostinho de Oliveira was appointed Ambassador of Angola to Botswana on November 18, 2025.
